Dimensions as used in the bio-analytic context are fields of organisation that we use to order and explain our system’s organisation. This layered image helps us to recognize and utilise the multiple levels of activity that define and protect our coherent and individual identity at any given moment.
Traditional systems of healing all over the world have used and still use similar functional levels to shape their understanding of the human system and to coordinate the diagnosis and treatment of an illness. Examples from traditional healing systems are the yoga chakras, the meridian system of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Judaic Kabalah. The five dimensions we use in bio-analysis are the bodily matrix, rhythmic order, intelligent nature, integral identity and coherent interaction.
