mind

Mind, in the practical approach of bio-analysis, refers to the organising capacity inherent to our biological system.

The word mind is consensually closer to such an inner organising principle than most other words. This (mostly unconscious) mind directs all our choices, even when it involves the organisation of those inner and outer influences we may consider to be conscious. The organisation process of the inner mind incorporates all the dimensions of our functioning and includes will, emotion, reason, feeling and intuitive insight. However, being linked to the biological organisation of our individual system, mind in the bio-analytic sense will always be a fully embodied concept and not an abstract philosophical idea. Mind is thus never separated from even the most basic actions inside our body. Our biological system is organised by a mind of its own and not by mindless reflexes.
